PRIVATELY OWNED INVESTMENT GROUP
Building businesses for the long term.
VentureEP is a privately owned investment group founded by husband-and-wife team Drew and Katie Mellor. Since 2015, we have used our own capital to acquire, build and grow established UK businesses with a long-term approach to ownership.

OUR APPROACH
Patient capital. Long-term ownership.
We invest our own capital, allowing us to take a patient view of ownership and growth. We are not constrained by a fixed fund cycle or a predetermined exit timetable. Our focus is on building strong, durable businesses over time.
HOW WE WORK
We back good managers to build good businesses.
Our portfolio businesses are led by their own management teams, close to their customers, people and markets. VentureEP provides capital, experience and specialist group support where it adds value.

PORTFOLIO
Businesses we’re building
Today, VentureEP owns and supports businesses across precision engineering, mobile machinery electronics, mechanical services, self storage and serviced offices.
Long-term ownership doesn’t mean standing still.
We continue to consider acquisitions that complement our existing portfolio businesses, as well as opportunities in sectors where we believe there is potential to build a high-quality group over time.
